Tour of Italy — Тур по Италии

Italy.…. Italy … How far it seems now. Although just a month ago I was in Italy. And after this trip, I can say with confidence: dreams come true!!! Because Italy is a dream, it is a fairy tale, it is magic!!!

The first city we visited was Rome. Most of all in Rome impressed the Colosseum and St. Peter’s Basilica. I then long could not believe that with my own eyes I saw the sculpture of Michelangelo’s “Pieta”, the Sistine Chapel!), Trevi fountain, people’s square is also very liked, very beautiful! Churches, of course, innumerable in Rome and within each, you can go and each has its own beauty inside and out. But most of all for some reason impressed the Church of Santa Maria Maggiore.

Then we went to Florence – the city of arts! There are some narrow streets!! Everywhere buildings, buildings and they are all ancient, and one new, modern. Every step of the sculptures, masterpieces. What is only David Michelangelo in Piazza Della Signoria (though it is not the original, but a copy)? And Doomski Cathedral is simply indescribable beauty! Charming Church of Santa Croce, beautiful bridges across the river Arno. Of course, just a few hours spent in Florence, definitely not enough, because it is a city of arts. We had only a couple of hours to run into the Uffizi gallery, I’m afraid to even imagine how many did not see…

Excursion to Venice. Venice is probably the eighth wonder of the world! Such an unusual city on the water! Everywhere these channels, small bridges, narrow streets, some just half a meter wide! I can’t believe this is happening! Venice is charming, unique and so romantic! Romance is just in the air everywhere!!! San Marco Cathedral is stunning in its beauty, the Doge’s Palace, numerous palaces located on the banks of The Grand canal. Be sure to swim through The Grand canal to see it all, because there are no embankments and be sure to make a wish, sailing under the Rialto bridge! In Venice, I had a feeling that all this is not real, that all this is drawn or even computer graphics, it’s still a very unusual and beautiful‑a city on the water! Venice is a fairy tale that exists in reality!

Milan is my dream now! This is the city I want to live in. Unlike other Italian cities, Milan is the closest to Moscow, the same big, majestic, beautiful and at the same time always in motion, lively and diverse, combining history and modernity.

The Duomo — it is something! It is built in the Gothic style entirely of marble! Its beauty is breathtaking. Seeing him, I realized that the photos do not convey his beauty and Majesty. Especially impressive are the multi-colored mosaics, through which sunlight penetrates, shimmering with all the colors of the rainbow. Another vivid impression of visiting Milan is feeding pigeons in the square in front of the Cathedral.

San Marino is an independent Republic from Italy, located on the mountain. To get to the historic center of San Marino, we have overcome several kilometers of serpentine. Imagine what views open from the top of the mountain!!! It is simply breathtaking from this beauty! In the distance, you could see even the Adriatic sea! And San Marino-is, of course, shopping, cheap Souvenirs, leather goods, wine, etc. Excursion to San Marino was the perfectly logical conclusion of our trip to Italy!

The next morning we flew to Moscow… And Italy has remained somewhere far… But be sure to want to go back and more than once! I fell in love with Italy!
